We are passionate about Pool at The Lockdown. Whether you're a seasoned pool shark or just seeking a casual game, our exclusive private pool room awaits you. Live sports streaming on our dedicated screen, ensuring you never miss a moment of the action. Gather your friends, challenge your colleagues, or simply hone your skills and elevate your pool-playing experience by reserving our private space, and let the games - and the cheers - begin. During the week (event depending) we use our function room as a mini pool hall with our two best tables available to use. Booking usually required.

Do I need to book ahead to play?
We advise you book in advance but we do accept walk ins, just be aware that you might need to wait during busy periods.
Where are you?
To those living locally you will have formally known us as the Canalside or Quayside, next to the old home of Runcorn Linnets. Our address is: 45 Canal Street, Runcorn WA7 1SA
Can we eat whilst we are there?
In 2023 we have teamed up with the incredible team at Turn Up The Base to serve amazing pizza and burgers. Please check with us first to see which we will be serving on the day you plan to visit.
